A man entered a store in Rio das Ostras (RJ), about 170 kilometers from the capital of Rio de Janeiro, and used an ax to destroy furniture that was on display. The case occurred during the week and the images went viral on social media.

In a note sent to CNN , the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro reported that the man filmed breaking the furniture “was arrested and taken to the police station by military police, where he was charged with qualified damage and arbitrary exercise of his own reasons”. He posted bail and will be released. The case was registered at the 128th DP, in Rio das Ostras.
