A ambush survivor, a 28-year-old man was attacked by a group of four shooters in São Francisco de Itabapoana, in northern Rio de Janeiro, on Monday afternoon (31).

Three other men descend from the vehicle and chase the target, firing. Then the car returns to pick them up and the criminals flee. The man was hit by two shots, one in the gluteus and one in the left knee. He was sent to Ferreira Machado Hospital in Campos dos Goytacazes, where he received care and was released on the morning of Tuesday (1st).
In an interview with CNN the head of São Francisco de Itabapoana, Rodolfo Maravilha, said that the Civil Police have already identified the perpetrators of the crime and are looking for the suspects.
According to him, both the gunmen and the victim have criminal tickets for drug trafficking and homicide. The delegate also pointed out that the criminals used electronic anklets and have been arrested several times by the police, but are free again.
The Civil Police reported that security was reinforced in the region to avoid further attacks.
