A video recorded by security cameras shows Felype Barbosa da Silva, 27, trying to steal a tow truck in an attempt to escape after killing a security guard and injuring six other people in a bar in Brasília.
The crime took place on Sunday night (13). Investigations by the Civil Police of the Federal District indicate that Felype murdered security guard Jorny Thiago Abreu, 23 years old, after refusing to pay the bill at the establishment where he had consumed beers. In addition to the security guard, the shots also hit five people, including a 10-year-old child, who was shot in the head.

In the images, Felype appears grabbing the tow truck driver and ordering him to get out of the vehicle. However, he is unable to drive the truck and ends up fleeing the crime scene on foot.
The shooter was arrested on Monday (14) in a hotel in the city of Valparaíso (GO), on the outskirts of DF.
According to delegate Sérgio Bautzer, responsible for the investigation, Felype was preparing to flee to another state. Portions of drugs for personal consumption were also seized.
Bautzer added that the shooter expressed regret after learning that the shots had hit a child.
“When I mentioned that there was a child hospitalized in a serious condition due to his actions, he told me that he was the father of four children. At that moment he had a blow”, said the delegate.
How was the crime
According to the Civil Police, Felype, the shooter, spent the day drinking and, on Sunday afternoon, participated in a party at a farm, where he even fired a shot into the air.
At around 8pm, he left the party and went to the bar where the crime took place, accompanied by a young woman and her cousin.
After entering the bar, Felype ordered beers to drink there. When he tried to leave the bar, completely intoxicated, he refused to pay the bill. The security guard who would later be killed tried to prevent him from leaving – which is why he was shot.
The two start an argument. Felype took out his gun and fired several shots at Jorny. According to police, the shooter discharged the weapon, a .380 caliber pistol.
According to investigations, at least ten shots were fired. In addition to killing the security guard, Felype hit other people present at the scene.
The boy hit in the head was taken to hospital in serious condition. The boy’s mother was shot in the back. Three women were injured: one with a shot in the arm, another in the leg and the third by a graze.
