The resident of a farm called the police to rescue a maned wolf that had gotten lost in her condominium. Police officers from the Federal District Environmental Military Police Battalion (BPMA-PMDF) responded to the call and went to the scene to save the animal.
According to police information, the maned wolf was uninjured. After the rescue, the animal was taken to a location away from the residences and released into the wild.
The unusual case happened on Wednesday night (8), at a farm in Paranoá, a city that is about 25 km from the center of Brasília.
The owner of the property reported her concern about the presence of the maned wolf, fearing possible attacks on her sheep and dog farms.
