In a statement, the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) reported that the Civil Police investigates the case as an injury through police inquiry initiated by the 14th Police District (Pinheiros).
MPSP said it received the complaint and the case was filed with the capital’s Human Rights Prosecutor on Tuesday (8).

The Clinical Hospital of the USP School of Medicine (FMUSP), where the young woman was hospitalized and where the students recorded the video, spoke upon the incident.
In a note sent to CNN FMUSP said Gabrielli Farias de Souza and Thaís Caldeiras Soares Foffano are part of other institutions and that they were in the hospital due to an extension course of about a month.
