Snow covered the city of New York, in the United States, on Saturday (21), a few days before Christmas.
The National Weather Service reported that this is the city’s first major December snowfall since 2021.
Videos show the amount of snow that fell, which was enough to form footprints.

Some areas saw around three to 11 centimeters of snow, while other parts of the state saw masses of approximately three centimeters.

Parts of upstate New York experienced what is known as the “lake effect,” which intensifies snowfall, the week of December 13. The Lake View region, which borders Canada, recorded 60 to almost 92 centimeters of snow.
