The death toll from the Russian missile attack on a residential complex in the city of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk, has risen to 24.
According to the State Emergency Service, since yesterday afternoon, 24 dead have been recovered and nine people have been rescued from the ruins of the apartment building.
Rescuers continue to search the ruins for survivors, the State Emergency Service announced today.
“According to preliminary information, about 20 people may still be under the rubble,” the emergency service said.

The attack was launched on Saturday night against the city of Chasiv Yar, as announced by the governor Pavlo Kirilenko.
AFP journalists who arrived at the scene saw that the four-storey building had partially collapsed and members of rescue teams with a bulldozer were trying to remove the debris.
34 people are under the rubble of a 5-story building in Chasovom Yar, which the Russians attacked with Uragan missiles.
