One bus robbery From the Cabuçu x Castelo line caused moments of panic on the morning of Wednesday (7), on Avenida Brasil, at the time of Irajá, towards Centro, in Rio de Janeiro. The criminal action was recorded on video by passengers and viralized on social networks.

Shortly thereafter, police from the Expressed Policing Battalion (BPVE) arrived at the scene and managed to arrest two men in the act. According to the Military Police Secretariat, they were seized with the suspects nine stolen cell phones and a revolver used to threaten the occupants of the vehicle. The occurrence was sent to the 38th Police Station (Irajá).
In a statement, the Federation of Mobility Companies of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Semove) mourned the episode and stressed that, once again, workers and public transport users were submitted to violence. The entity stated to collaborate with the authorities in prevention and repression actions, and reinforced the appeal for the population to contribute information through the Denunciation Dial.
