A recording shows two military police officers attacking a man with slaps and punches, this Tuesday (10), in Manaus. They enter the establishment, handcuff the victim and attack him afterwards.

The incident occurred around 11pm last Tuesday, December 10, in the Colônia Santo Antônio neighborhood, located in the north of Manaus. The action was captured by a security camera at the establishment.
The images show the victim sitting inside the establishment when he is approached by two police officers from the 18th Interactive Company (Cicom). One of the police officers shines a flashlight at the merchant and orders him to get up. Afterwards, the owner is the target of verbal abuse, and is then led away from the premises.

The Amazonas Military Police informs that an internal investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of what happened and reinforces that it values respect and good public service provision in responding to police incidents. In this action by the 18th Interactive Company (Cicom), 41 bundles of cocaine, 49 bundles of oxy, 54 cocaine pins and 41 portions of skunk were seized.
The corporation also emphasizes that any inappropriate conduct by its agents can be reported to the Internal Affairs Department of the Public Security system.
