Digital influencer and riffer Ramhon Dias, 33, was shot on Saturday afternoon (6), in the Vale dos Lagos neighborhood, in Salvador. The Civil Police of Bahia reported that the case is being treated as attempted murder.
A video captured the chase. In the images, it is possible to see the blogger running away from an armed man, who starts shooting. He was leaving the barber shop when he was surprised by the attack. See the video.
Police are still investigating whether the incident was an attempted robbery or an execution by an armed man. The influencer’s car had its window broken by one of the shots.
The Military Police confirmed the incident and said in a statement that upon arriving at the scene, the victim had already been taken to the São Rafael Hospital. He has already been discharged and is at home with his injured arm.
Ramhon has 444 thousand followers on Instagram, where he posts content about raffles, prizes and personal life.
In July 2023, the Bahian court ordered the influencer’s temporary arrest on suspicion of money laundering or concealment of assets, gambling and criminal organization.
At the time, the riffer was also suspected of creating shell companies and other illicit practices.
A CNN contacted the Court of Justice of Bahia to find out whether Ramhon was arrested and why he is free, but has not yet received a response.
