A 34-year-old man was pinned down and beaten by a fighter after trying to rob him in Fortaleza (CE). The case occurred last Monday morning (19).
Security cameras recorded the attempted robbery and attacks. In the images, it is possible to see the moment when the fighter knocks the assailant off a motorcycle, which was stopped on the sidewalk. He then immobilizes the criminal with a blow known as a rear-naked choke and throws him onto the street.
After a few seconds, other people approached and began attacking the robber, whose identity was not revealed.

According to the Military Police, after the attacks, the individual managed to escape. The robber also tried to steal a car during his escape, but was captured and arrested by police officers who were patrolling near the location.
The PM also reports that, before trying to rob the fighter, pretending to be armed, he had already robbed three other victims.
Three people who were robbed during the morning by the same suspect, before his capture, attended the police station and registered a police report. A motorcycle and a backpack containing the victims' belongings were seized.
