Video Shows 1945 Russian Tank Operating in Ukraine – Carrying a Wooden ‘Cage’ of Bushes as a Shield

The internet round makes one video which points to Ukraine to attempt one tank her of Russia produced by the Soviet Union in 1945 and has a cage-like wooden structure on it that apparently functions as a shield.

In accordance with Business Insiderthe video was first published on the Russian channel “Let’s Help the Front” and on September 29 it was reproduced on the X platform (formerly Twitter) by the OSINTtechnical account.

A tank can be seen in the video T-54 or T-55 which is painted with the Z symbol which is related to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, while in its turret it has a flimsy wooden structure with almost twice the sizewhich is covered with dry grasses.

The OSINTtechnical account states that the “cage” carrying the tank, in theory it acts as a shield against drones, missiles or other anti-tank weaponswhile it can also provide camouflage.

However, it is actually alleged that cannot provide any protectionbeyond psychological support to the crew of the tank.

“It gives them psychological protection against weapons, but it actually does very little. It cannot protect against common anti-tank weapons like Javelin or NLAW,” said Justin CrumpCEO of OSINTtechnical.
