A video shows the moment when lawyer Rodrigo Marinho Crespo is executed in front of the office where he worked, on Avenida Marechal Câmara, in the central region of Rio. The crime scene is on the same sidewalk as the Brazilian Bar Association in the state ( OAB-RJ), and a few meters from the Public Ministry. Security camera footage recorded the moment of the crime. The crime
The crime took place around 5 pm, approximately 50 meters from the OAB headquarters. Security camera footage shows that the lawyer was killed by a hooded man who was already waiting for the victim and got out of a white car that was in front of the building.
The victim appears in the images near a newsstand when he is hit by several shots from a 9 mm pistol. There were at least eleven shots. All in the face and chest regions. The shots frightened those passing by. Afraid, many people ran without knowing what was happening. The criminals managed to escape.

The area was inspected. The Capital Homicide Police Station (DHC) is investigating the case. The authorship or motivation of the crime is not yet known.
What the OAB says
In a statement, the Rio de Janeiro Bar Association (OAB-RJ) lamented the death and stated that the body's president, Luciano Bandeira, “is following the development of the case and is in contact with the state's Secretary of Public Security.”
