The Military Police of the State of São Paulo released images of the rescue of TV Band reporter Lucas Martins, who was missing after hiking in Serra do Mar, on the coast of São Paulo.
The Águia helicopter was used to rescue Lucas Martins and three other friends, who got lost while traveling in the municipality of Itanhaém, in the Atlantic Forest region.
According to TV Band’s press office, the reporter is fine. The Fire Department said that the others rescued are also fine.
The group entered the Juquitiba trail, towards Itanhaém. However, they got lost on the way and the firefighters were called by family members.
The rescue took place this Sunday (December 1st).
In addition to being a reporter for TV Band, Lucas Martins is an ultramarathon runner and posts several trails on social media.

Band reports that reporter and presenter Lucas Martins was found this Sunday (1st) after losing contact with his family late Saturday afternoon while hiking to Itanhaém, on the coast of São Paulo.
As soon as it became aware of what had happened, the broadcaster contacted the Public Security Secretariat, the Military Police and the Fire Department, who promptly mobilized their teams to begin the search.
Thanks to the efforts of everyone involved, the professional and three other friends were located, rescued and are doing well.
The Band expresses its gratitude to the agents who worked tirelessly to ensure a positive outcome.
