A video posted on social media on Monday revealed an incident that took place at an amusement park in Rust, near Freiburg, in southwest Germany. The images, produced by one of the people who were at the scene, show a large column of smoke forming near one of the facilities after a fire.
The incident took place at Europa-Park, the largest theme park in the country. Visitors were evacuated and there were no reports of injuries among them. Two firefighters working to extinguish the fire suffered minor injuries, according to police.
Still according to the police, the fire originated from a problem in a technical room. Park officials said the fire was under control. According to those responsible for the park, the site will be back up and running this Tuesday (20).
