Security cameras recorded the moment when pastor Leonardo Sale ran over a man after, according to him, suffering an attempted robbery. The case occurred last Wednesday (27) in Barra da Tijuca, west of Rio de Janeiro.

Then the pastor accelerates the car. One of the suspects managed to run away, while the other was under the car and was dragged a few meters. Some of the people around try to help the man, but soon after the motorcycle catches fire.
On his profile on a social network, pastor Leonardo Sale explained what happened. The religious leader stated that he was the victim of an attempted armed robbery and that after being threatened with a firearm, he ended up accelerating the car on the passenger side, running over the criminals.
“My heart is sad, even though justice is being served. I feel sad because I see so many young people losing themselves to trafficking and crime,” said the pastor.
