Images from security cameras show the moment when actor Kayky Brito was run over, early on Saturday (2), in Barra da Tijuca, west of Rio de Janeiro.
According to the Fire Department, the car was run over on Avenida Lucio Costa, at number 4,700, at 1:08 am this Saturday.
The 34-year-old actor was taken to the Miguel Couto Municipal Hospital, in Leblon, in the south of the city, with polytrauma and head trauma.
Afterwards, he was transferred to the Copa Star hospital, in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, where he is sedated and breathing with the help of machines. According to the hospital, Kayky must remain under care in the ICU.

In an interview with CNN, the delegate explained that the actor was at the Quiosque Dona Maria, at post 6, on Barra beach, with actor Bruno De Luca and other friends.
Kayky went to get some belongings in his car and, on returning to the kiosk, he was run over. Still according to Lages, the car, a Fiat Argo, was an app driver that took a passenger, with a baby, from Recreio dos Bandeirantes to Barra da Tijuca.
The driver even tried to divert to the right lane, but was unable to avoid the actor.
Expertise was requested at the scene and the police are investigating whether the driver was traveling at a speed higher than the speed allowed on the stretch.
The case was registered in the 16th PD as culpable bodily injury, when there is no intention.
