Images from surveillance cameras recorded the moment when presenter Silvia Poppovic was robbed, last Sunday (14), in the Higienópolis neighborhood, west of São Paulo.

In the video, it is possible to see the moment when a man attacks the victim from behind. The presenter falls to the floor and the criminal tries to take a ring from her hand.
The individual managed to take Silvia's ring and fled. The presenter got up and ran in the opposite direction to get help. She spoke out about the case the day after it happened. “You come away from an experience like that completely destroyed and vulnerable. I can’t accept that São Paulo is getting worse and worse.”
In the video, she gave details about the crime: “He kicked me in the legs and knocked me to the ground. And then with one hand he was strangling me with another hand that he had loose, he started pulling the ring. I 'have' my hand all hurt. Then he started to bleed, both his hands started to bleed and he became desperate.”
According to the presenter, she was the target of criminal action when she was returning from a birthday party nearby.
