The US Federal Civil Aviation Authority is conducting a survey after Frontier Airlines’ difficult flight landing at Luis Marin International Airport in San Juan Rico on Tuesday. Flight 3506, an Airbus A321, arrived from Orlando International Airport when the first landing attempt failed. Audio from the Broadcast website includes air traffic controllers who warn pilots of “debris in the runway” after a “slightly tough aircraft landing”. “The last aircraft that tried to land in San Juan hit the surface very hard and apparently (lost) some things in the hallway,” the auditor explained to another pilot. “He has declared a state of emergency.” Flight 3506 circled around the airport and made two more landing attempts to land successfully at 22:20 local time.
