Yesterday, on January 31, the developers of the Telegram messenger released another update, but this time there were no important innovations or functions – the update is cosmetic in nature. For example, the application now supports video stickers, the interface has been adorned with new animations, more emojis have appeared for reactions to messages and posts, as well as a convenient function for navigating through the last opened dialogs.
Video stickers
The developers of the application noted that at the moment, the usual vector stickers are in high demand among users, they can boast of high quality and a weight of no more than 30 KB per sticker. The only problem with this format is that to create a set of such stickers, you need to have certain technical knowledge and software like Adobe Illustrator, but with video stickers everything is easier – this is a much more democratic format. Now users have the opportunity to create animated stickers from a regular video – almost any video editor is suitable for this.
compact reactions
Now the animations that were shown when sending a reaction will be more compact by default, but the user still has the opportunity to send a large-scale reaction – for this, long enough to hold the finger on the emoji in the reaction selection menu. In addition, now reactions are synchronized for the sender and all recipients – the animation will start simultaneously for everyone.

More reaction options and interactive emojis
In the current update, the developers have added five new available reactions – 🥰🤯🤔🤬👏. Moreover, these same emoji can also be used in the interactive emoji format.

Go to Recent Chats
The developers of the messenger have significantly simplified communication on smartphones – now the user can quickly return to the chat he needs immediately after he has switched to other dialogs using links or using the function that opens unread messages in channels. In order to select the chat to which you want to return, you must hold the “Back” button in the chat, and then select the desired dialogue in the drop-down window.

Additional Improvements
The creators of Telegram said that in January the development team spent two weeks of active work fixing a lot of bugs – they significantly improved the quality of calls, added support for translations when browsing the web, implemented the function of sending messages without sound through the Share menu, and more. And in the application on iOS, new animations have been added for icons in the bottom panel – they are displayed when switching tabs.
