Video: Sturdy is beaten by Shopping security guards at ABC Paulista

A 20 -year -old street vendor, who did not have a disclosed identity, was assaulted by security guards at the Grand Plaza mall in Santo André, in ABC Paulista, on Sunday afternoon (20).

As determined by CNN the employees claimed that the young man would have stolen chocolates from an American unit, which is located inside the shopping center.

The victim’s family, however, contradicts the version of the agents. In a video obtained by the report, the boy’s uncle reports that he has been shopping at the store for about 3 years. Look:

In the images, the victim’s family also says that agents stole a bag, a cap and part of the chocolates bought by the young in the establishment. The man also pointed out that the store employees defended the street vendor, claiming that he had not committed theft on the spot. THE NOTE FOR PRODUCT PURCHASE It is displayed in the video.

In addition to the aggressions, the security guards broke the boy’s cell phone. The case was registered as bodily injury and damage at the 6th Police District of Santo André, which investigates the crime.

Shopping Grand Plaza said it investigates what happened. Read the note below:

“The mall informs that it does not tolerate any violence in its premises, and both its employees and outsourced employees are oriented in this sense. Regarding the complaint made, the enterprise is conducting a strict investigation and will adopt all appropriate measures. In addition, it remains available to the competent authorities for any clarification.”

In a statement, Americanas said it repudiates any kind of violence, even outside its environments, and stressed that the attackers are not employees of the company. The company also said it has provided support to the victim and is available to the authorities to contribute to the elucidation of the case.
