A pursuit of a luxury car ended with the arrest of a 17-year-old young man in the east zone of São Paulo, last Saturday night (2). The teenager allegedly stole the yellow Camaro and other belongings from a couple in São Bernardo do Campo, in ABC Paulista.
The Public Security Secretariat (SSP) reported that the suspect fled after carrying out the robbery, but ended up being detained in Vila Prudente, a neighborhood in the east of São Paulo.
In a video released by the São Paulo Military Police, it is possible to see the Camaro traveling at high speed, while being pursued by around ten vehicles and the PM’s Águia helicopter.
The images even show the moment the vehicle is ambushed by one of the vehicles. The escape is prevented and the chase ends on Avenida Doutor Francisco Mesquita in the Vila Prudente region.

To the Civil Police, the teenager confirmed that his accomplice took two rings, two cell phones, cards, a remote control and a wallet from the victims. The second suspect and his belongings have not yet been located.
The case was registered as robbery and vehicle location/seizure by the 56th Police District. The young man was referred to the CASA Foundation.
