A 53-year-old man died after falling into the sea off the coast of the municipality of Puerto de la Cruz, in the Spanish archipelago of the Canary Islands.
The tourist, a Czech national, was taking photos of the natural pool area when he fell into the water.
According to the Canary Islands government's emergency service, the man was removed from the sea – already in cardiorespiratory arrest – by rescuers in a helicopter.
The video of the moment of rescue was released by authorities on social media. See below.

Rescuers performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers while the victim was taken to the helipad in the city of La Guancha.
“Already on land, a doctor and a nurse from the La Guancha health center, transported in a basic life support ambulance, continued with cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, without being able to reverse the situation, confirming his death,” informed the authorities.
The Civil Guard instructed the procedures to investigate what happened.
