The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, fulfilled this Monday (2) the annual tradition of lighting the Christmas tree at 10 Downing Street, in London.
Starmer and his wife Victoria were welcomed by a choir outside the British Prime Minister’s official residence.

The Prime Minister counted down before lighting up and was applauded by the crowd.
Members of the Band of the Scots Guards also performed for the couple after the event.
This was Starmer’s first time performing the ritual since taking office in July 2024.
