In addition, families of 55 houses had to be relocated. No one was injured.

The Civil Defense reports that about 50 kilometers of power grid have been damaged by the passage of the storm, as well as the destruction of an area of 70 hectares, which covers eucalyptus, pine, orchards with citrus fruits and mate herb. Roads were also obstructed by tree falls.

According to the Civil Defense, the phenomenon was the result of heat and humidity transport from the north of the country, coupled with the deepening of a low pressure system and the displacement of a cold front. The passage caused intense gusts of wind.
