A security guard at the São Bernardo do Campo Emergency Hospital, located in Greater São Paulo, was filmed by the unit’s security cameras assaulting a man who was in a wheelchair and used a cervical necklace.
The case happened at dawn on Wednesday (21). According to the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP), military police were called to verify the occurrence, but so far there has been no case communication to the Civil Police.
The City of São Bernardo do Campo, through the Health Department, said that “repudiates acts of violence performed” and reported that both security guards who appear in the video, employees of an outsourced company, were fired.
In the images you can see the employee pushing and kicking the patient, who falls to the floor.

“The security company was notified, the security guards have been turned off and the guidelines and training will be reinforced for all security employees and access controllers,” they said. The SSP reported that the victim was not injured.
