Images from a security camera at the Tamoios dealership record the passage of a helicopter that could be the Robinson R44 aircraft that disappeared in São Paulo on December 31st.
There is still no official confirmation whether or not the equipment seen is the PR-HDB, which had four people on board and has been searched for 11 days.
Watch the videos:
The video was recorded on the 31st at km 58 of Rodovia dos Tamoios, in Paraibuna (SP), in Vale do Paraíba, towards the north coast. In the images, it is possible to see a helicopter flying low near the vegetation. As the crow flies, the location is about 30 kilometers from Ilhabela, where the missing aircraft was headed.
The helicopter appears in the video for about 20 seconds and then leaves the field of view. It is not possible to see any sign of what happens from then on.
According to the camera record, the image was captured at 2:07 pm. The place where the aircraft was seen is close to a ravine and on the banks of the Paraibuna Dam. Police sources informed the CNN which, in the coming days, will focus the searches around this area.
The last contact made by pilot Cassiano Tete Teodoro and the helipad where the aircraft would land, in Ilhabela, occurred at around 2:49 pm. The commander reported bad weather conditions and difficulty reaching the destination. Two other passengers also sent messages to people nearby and made similar reports.

The Civil Police informs that “the Department of Strategic Police Operations (Dope) is aware of the locations shown in the images and searches are already underway”. “The security forces continue to provide assistance to the work, which is being coordinated by the Brazilian Air Force (FAB)”, he adds.
A CNN asked for a position from the FAB, but received no response at the time of publication of this report.
