Around 5:30 pm on Tuesday (30), security cameras captured a large landslide at km 38 of the ERS-122, in São Vendelino, Rio Grande do Sul. The road had been blocked since 8 am. Four vehicles were hit by the natural disaster. Two people were missing, according to Civil Defense.

The engineer who was coordinating the monitoring plan for the area heard pops coming from the hills and began evacuating the area, instructing drivers, pedestrians and residents to leave the area near the highway. At least 40 people were alerted and 20 vehicles were removed from the scene in approximately 30 minutes.
On the stretch, 15 professionals from Concessionária Caminhos da Serra Gaúcha, two trucks, a backhoe, a bucket and four other signaling and user service vehicles were working.
In addition to the point, which remains blocked, between kilometers 30 and 51, three other highways are completely closed: BRS-470, between kilometers 233 and 234, in Carlos Barbosa; and ERS-446, between km 0 and 14, between Carlos Barbosa and São Vendelino. There is no release forecast.
