The bodies found on Saturday afternoon a Villa Pamphiliin Rome. The woman was about 40 years old, the girl a few months. Their identities have been confirmed through the DNA and fingerprints present in the database. A man from Eastern Europe is now looking for ties with both.

The investigators of the mobile team follow the track of a double murder, which took place in a context of strong degradation. It is not excluded that the woman and the girl were homeless.

Two dead hours away

According to the first investigations, the woman would have died several hours before the girl. There are no obvious signs of violence on his body. The little girl, on the other hand, may have wounded after being abandoned among the brushwood. It was found about 200 meters away from the mother, as the crow flies. The woman was inside a black bag, with an arm that protruded outside.

The scene and investigations

The scientific police has isolated and expanded the area around the discovery to seek clues. The agents of the SCO, coordinated by the prosecutors Antonio Verdi and Giuseppe Cascini, are mapping the entire villa to reconstruct the movements of the two victims. The area is without cameras, which makes the reconstruction more complex.

The woman’s body was found near the fence on via Leone XIII. That of the girl was more inside, over one of the avenues traveled every day by runners, cyclists and families.

The autopsy will be carried out on Tuesday.
