Vinhedo plane crash: PR and SP authorities align transfer of bodies

The mayor of Cascavel (PR), Leonardo Paranhos (PSC), and the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos) spoke by telephone on the afternoon of this Saturday (10) to align the actions to transfer the bodies of the 62 victims of the plane crash last Friday (9), in Vinhedo, interior of São Paulo.

Tarcísio informed the mayor of Cascavel that a structure with accommodation in a hotel and support at the Central Legal Medical Institute (IML) will be prepared in the city of São Paulo, in partnership with the University of São Paulo (USP).

“The staff at the USP School of Medicine have set up a structure of doctors, psychologists and ambulances; the doctors are on standby and there are conditions to take them to the Hospital das Clínicas if necessary,” highlighted the governor.

Tarcísio also highlighted that the victims’ bodies will be released as soon as the IML identification is completed.
