Viola Davis pays tribute to Rio de Janeiro in video: “Vibrant City”

The actress Viola Davis 59, paid a tribute to Brazil and the city of Rio de Janeiro After passing the country to release the film “G20” at Morro da Urca. She posted a video on social networks to the sound of music “Enjoying Life” from the pagoda group Good taste and thanked the hospitality.

“Thank you, Rio! What a joy was to be in your vibrant city for our #G20 press conference – whenever I’m in Brazil, I feel like it’s coming home. Your hospitality, energy, spirit… are incomparable. We are very proud of #Film20 and we can barely wait for you to watch the work on April 10th!” She said on Instagram on Sunday (6).

At the launch event, she posed with Brazilian artists like Anitta , Gaby Amarantos , Lázaro Ramos and Regina Casé . The movie is scheduled to premiere April 10 at Amazon’s streaming prime video.

In the plot, Viola Davis plays Danielle Sutton, a president of the United States who has been the target of terrorist attacks during the G20 meeting – International Economic Cooperation Forum of the largest global powers.

According to the gang plan advances through Deepfake tools, which gather the data and facial information of the authorities, the Sutton family disappears.

The film is starring Anthony Anderson Marsai, Martin Ramón Rodríguez, Douglas Hodge, Elizabeth Marvel, Sabrina Impacciatore, Christopher Farrar and Antony Starr.
