This Saturday (18), the first day of the Cultural Turn of Solidarity which featured presentations by Leo Santana , Joelma , Lenin , Shaman , Gloria Groove among other diverse artists.
Among the highlights was a tribute from singer Joelma, who wore a costume inspired by the recording of the band Calypso's first DVD. During the performance, the artist's daughter, Yasmin even made a special appearance and surprised the audience.
In Vale at Anhangabaú, after an hour delay, Léo Santana took the stage and delivered Carnival hits to entertain the audience, who waited anxiously for him.
The event took place throughout the city of São Paulo, with stages spread out and free shows. In this edition, Virada Cultural gained a new name to support donations to Rio Grande do Sul, which is facing the consequences of the floods, which devastated most of the state.
To this end, collection points were distributed, which will be allocated to people affected by the natural tragedy.
