The clearance was issued following the conclusion of an FAA investigation that focused on air traffic control and real-time flight notification issues in conjunction with the flight of Unity 22 in July.
The agency told Virgin Galactic that the corrective actions proposed by the company have been taken and the FAA investigation, which began on August 11, 2021, has been completed. The actions mentioned include:
