Nerf toy blasters have mastered PCs and smartphones and are now heading for virtual reality. The multiplayer shooter Nerf Ultimate Championship for Oculus Quest headsets arrives in 2022.
The short trailer shows a squad of four players in neon costumes reminiscent of the iconic costumes from the Tron movie. The game is being developed by the Secret Location VR studio, which won an Emmy award for its work on The Sleepy Hollow Virtual Reality Experience. Hasbro acquired the developer in 2019 in a $ 3.8 billion deal with Entertainment One, the media giant best known for the children’s shows Peppa Pig and PJ Masks.
