The Greek school of Agios Nikolaos Ghana was visited by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias, who is currently in this country of West Africa.
In statements after the visit, Mr. Dendias congratulated the Tsakou Foundation for its work in Accra, Ghana, as well as the Mytileneos Company for its huge participation. As he said, they give “a very proud example of how we could help our fellow human beings on another continent, which on the map looks far away, if you are here it looks very close to ours”.
“I came here on behalf of the Greek government, the government of Prime Minister Mitsotakis, to add our donation to this proud example of human care for each other,” Dendias said.
Earlier today, the minister handed over 150,000 vaccines against the coronavirus, as an expression of Greece’s solidarity with Ghana and its people.
“I am so proud and so excited to be here with our ambassador today. And rest assured that we will be here to help you in the future as much as we can,” he added.
