Vitale Barberis Canonico celebrates the common thread with Driade for Design Week 2024

In the Milanese space of Vitale Barberis Canonico to welcome those who crossed the threshold last night, the unmistakable Nemo armchair-face by Dryad. Around, in a sort of impromptu stage, a blanket of fabrics draped to package what would later prove to be furnishing accessories, but which at first glance seemed like great gifts waiting to be unwrapped. Inside the showroom Via Solferino 23, the party awaited us that the historic Biella wool mill organized during the Design Week 2024 to celebrate the unprecedented collaboration with the design hotbed founded by the Astori family.

The material installation with a great visual impact was curated by Novembre Studio, with a recurring red thread to symbolize the union between the world of fashion and that of designalways a harbinger of creative sparks and dazzling ideas.

Upon entering, the numerous guests and friends of the brands were able to admire and touch some of the furnishings that have made the history of Driade, literally covered in the sartorial and precious fabrics of Vitale Barberis Canonico: the sofa Hall designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, covered in soft tartan carded flannel, while the sofa Verlainewith sinuous shapes, the square armchairs Hypercubedesigned by De Pas, D'Urbino and Lomazzi, the armchairs Lisa by Laudani&Romanelli, epitomes of the rediscovery of the discreet and the volumetrically contained, and the seat BLOCK created by N.Vigo following the philosophy of the limit of what is necessary, they are covered in the precious fabric Double Meltonusually used to make warm and enveloping coats.
