Buterin also admitted that Bitcoin exceeds the etherium in some aspects: simplicity of coding, fewer changes in the protocol, the number of NODs, as well as its less dependence on the services of remote calls of procedures or RPC, such as Infura, Alchemy or Ankr.
Other crypto industry experts agree with this. The bitcoin model retains significant advantages, given that its code base is less complicated, which allows you to send BTC using safe and reliable translations. At the same time, the Ethereum code is more complicated due to smart contracts and EVM.
Unlike Ethereum, which underwent about 20 large network updates, including the latest Pectra update on May 8, there were significantly fewer changes in the protocol in Bitcoin compared to its original model.
In his other post, Vitalik Buterin emphasized the basic priorities of the etherium and spheres, which should be paid attention to in the second -level ecosystem. Responding to another user who wrote that the inter -grid compatibility was “solved” at the infrastructure level, Buterin did not agree with him, saying that much more in this direction has to be done.
