On the channel’s 15th anniversary, starting next Friday (9) Viva will change from name to GloboPlay Novels with a 100% program dedicated to novels including great Brazilian dramaturgy classics, international hits and unpublished original productions.

The programming of GloboPlay Novels will have four new tracks dedicated to novels . To mark the new changes, will be launched on the channel and streaming national production “Warriors of the Sun” inspired by the life of Lampião and Maria Bonita and other cangaceiros who crossed the northeast of Brazil between the 1920s and 1930s. In the cast are actors such as Alexandre Nero, Isadora Cruz, Nathalia Dill, Irandhir Santos, Thomás Aquino and Alinne Moraes.

“Warriors of the Sun” will be aired from Monday to Friday, at 10:40 pm, with re-presentation of the Friday chapter on Saturday. Already in Globe five chapters will be released a week.

In addition to “Warriors of the Sun”, the channel will reexibrate for the first time the soap opera “Beyond Time”, a production that passed at 6 pm in 2015. Turkey’s “Hercii” will also be shown in international hits and the Mexican leaflet “The Invincible Love”, based on the Portuguese soap opera “Mar Salgado”.

Another novelty is that now there will be thematic battles, where the public will choose between two successful soap operas that had something common and vote for a poll. The first will be a “Battle of Helenas do Manoel Carlos”, among the Helena lived by Regina Duarte in “For Love”, who exchanges her own baby with her daughter’s still baby, and Helena played by Vera Fischer in “Family Ties”, which gives up a great passion also because of her own daughter.
