The Vkontakte team announced the launch of the rental service for electric scooters Vkontakte Rental. As the press service notes, this is the first service for renting electric scooters on the social network.
With its help, the user will be able to rent electric scooters in the city, as well as pay for trips on social networks. Rental VKontakte was launched in conjunction with the Citymobil service, kicksharing Urent was the first partner. The service will develop according to the aggregator model: it is planned to connect other partners-vendors of scooter rental to it.
“VKontakte rental” can be found in the “Services” tab in the VK application. Previously, it was also possible to call a taxi through the social network. You can pay for trips inside the application. The service also allows you to book a scooter in advance if the user is looking for the nearest ones on the map.
At first, the service is available to users from St. Petersburg, Samara and Rostov-on-Don. During the season, the geography of the service will expand to other regions.
