The VKontakte social network team announced important changes for those users who are used to listening to music from the social network.
Starting August 30, background listening will not be possible without a paid subscription. True, the cost of a VK Combo subscription will drop to 75 rubles per month.
At the same time, offline listening (downloading and listening without connecting to the network) will become possible for users not only in the Boom application, but also in the VKontakte mobile application. This function will be available for users of paid subscriptions to Music VKontakte, VK Combo and Boom.
At the moment, there is a special price on VK Combo: 75 rubles per month for six months for new users from Russia. The subscription combines offers from the services of the VK ecosystem and its partners. So, subscribers can listen to VKontakte music in the Boom application without ads, in the background and offline, as well as watch movies through the Wink video service.
You can also use VKontakte Music for free – you can listen to any songs in any quantity – in the desktop version of VKontakte and in an open mobile application, but without background playback and without the ability to save to the device.
