The developers of the social network “VKontakte” today, on May 26, officially announced the integration of the voice assistant “Marusya” from Mail.ru into the application of the social network. Thanks to this, many functions and services of VKontakte will be more accessible to users – you can launch your favorite track with one voice command without having to search for it for a long time, you can find the necessary user or community, even call a friend without unnecessary actions. Moreover, the developers have implemented seamless switching between the services of the VKontakte ecosystem – a single VK Connect account, a VK Pay payment service and a VK Combo subscription.
For example, a user can comfortably use Marusya not only to work with a social network, but also to launch or manage other ecosystem services – you can find out the weather forecast, order food or a taxi, read the latest news, view fresh letters in the mail. Naturally, the standard functions of the voice assistant have not gone anywhere either – Marusya is able to answer user questions, set reminders, create a shopping list with just one voice, ask smart home commands or even play various games. To access these and other functions, the user of the application just needs to go to the “Services” tab and click on the download icon of the voice assistant.
In the foreseeable future, the application developers plan to expand the arsenal of voice assistant functions within the social network application so that the user does not need to close the software to receive information or services.
