The President of Russia Vladimir Putinis going to address the citizens of the country, according to what the Russian state news agency TASS reports, citing Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
The sermon is coming after the uprising of the head of the Russian mercenary company Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhinwho is located in Rostov, a key hub in the Russian offensive against Ukraine.
“We are at the headquarters, it is 07:30 in the morning”Yevgeny Prigozhin said in a video uploaded to the Telegram platform. “Military installations in Rostov are under our control, including the airport”he added, as uniformed men could be seen behind him as they marched.
He demanded for Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Valery Gerasimov, a top Russian general, to go there.
