O Video Music Awards (VMA) It already has a date for this year: September 10, 2024 . The American event, which is presented by MTV television channel and awards the best in music, will take place at the UBS Arena, in New York, in the United States.
The information was shared on the ceremony's social networks. Last year, the event also took place in September and had Taylor Swift as the big winner of the night.
With a total of eight nominations, including artist of the year, video of the year and song of the year for her 2022 hit “Anti-Hero,” the artist won every category in which she was nominated and that was televised.

Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Karol G, Nicki Minaj and Shakira joined Swift as nominated artists of the year, marking the first time since the category was introduced in 2017 that all of the category's nominees are women.
Demi Lovato, Shakira, Olivia Rodrigo, Cardi B with Megan Thee Stallion, Diddy, Lil Wayne, Doja Cat and Fall Out Boy, among others, performed during the ceremony.
