Vodafone Greece recorded a significant increase in the mobile customer base and revenues from services, as well as a record in data traffic in its last financial year (April 2021 – March 2022), according to the financial statements announced today by the Vodafone group.
In particular, turnover reached 925 million euros, remaining stable, with revenues from services increasing by 3%, reaching 858 million euros from 837 million euros in the financial year 2020-2021. Adjusted profitability (EBITDAaL) amounted to 228 million euros.
The mobile customer base increased by 183,000 customers and reached 4,254 million, with the company having succeeded in adding 145,000 new prepaid customers and 38,000 contract subscribers, who constitute 39.3% of the base.
While in the stable, despite the intense competition, the base of the fixed increased by 6,000 and reached 972,000 customers, which is the highest performance of the company since it entered the fixed.
In Data use, Vodafone recorded a historical record with 185,846 TB and an increase of 52% compared to the previous financial year (122,219 TB).
In addition, the APRU decreased at the end of the financial year, reaching 9.9 euros (from 10.4 euros last year), reduced by 4% at a time when inflation in March 2022 was approaching + 9%.
