Vogue Talents is about to return

The usual event of Vogue Talents, sponsored by the Municipality of Milan, dedicated to the international scouting of new generation creatives and designers. The World of Vogue Talents is the digital platform accessible to the public at the address: https://voguetalents.vogue.it/it starting from 23 September 2021.

Vogue Talents is the scouting project of Vogue Italia launched in 2009 which, in addition to two printed issues per year, has more than one million users across social and web.

Having reached the first ten years of presence in the publishing scene, today it is a brand through which Condé Nast Italia supports the new generation of creatives, a solid multimedia platform that has established itself as a reference point for creatives from all over the world, a network of people and activities that connects people and companies, in a mechanism that is not only communicative but promotes business and new perspectives on fashion.

The platform will be open to visitors online by invitation only on 22 September and available to the international public from the following day.

The last edition, held in February 2021, recorded 134,000 visits to the site and 8.6 million impressions on social media.

To welcome the visitor to the virtual world of Vogue Talents, a very special soundtrack: the one composed exclusively for The World of Vogue Talents by six international female DJs: Chloe Caillet from Ibiza, Han Jiang from New York, Jenny Albright from California and New York, Miluhska from Miami and Stefania Pia from Palermo, Umi from Florence. After having welcomed the dancers of the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi in Milan on the virtual stage of Vogue Talents for the February 2021 edition, the desire of Vogue Talents to support creativity and art in the resumption of post-Covid looks to music and its protagonists. The protagonist of the Digital Capsule Collection section is a project in collaboration with THE DEMATERIALISED, the experiential marketplace for fashion NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) founded in 2020 in London and which wants to allow everyone to experience digital fashion, one of the directions for the future towards to which responsible fashion is directed. Five new generation brands selected by Vogue Talents – Vivetta, Marco Rambaldi, Federico Cina, Cormio, Niccolò Pasqualetti – have produced, in collaboration with THE DEMATERIALISED, the digital version of some items of their collection, which will be visible on the platform and then sold. exclusively using crypto currency or traditional currency on THE DEMATERIALISED website. The section «Spotlight on Talents», the heart of Vogue Talents scouting, is dedicated to the creativity of some of the most interesting brands of the new generation of designers: brands that enhance craftsmanship and choose a responsible approach alongside avant-garde labels, experimenters of fabrics and silhouettes. Here are their names: the Italians ATXV by Antonio Tarantini and Defense by Nicola Bacchilega, the French duo Egonlab composed of Florentin Glémarec and Kévin Nompeix, the Canadian Marie-Ève ​​Lecavalier with Lecavalier and the Lebanese Cynthia Merhej with Renaissance Renaissance; finally there will be the British brand Selasi by Ronan Mckenzie and the Chinese brand Bad Binch Tong Tong by Terrence Zhou.

Who is on Next? is Altaroma’s scouting project created in collaboration with Vogue Italia. With the aim of supporting Made in Italy, every year it offers the possibility to new generation designers to show their talent and to emerge internationally, as well as to win important prizes thanks also to the collaboration with partners such as the National Chamber of Fashion. and Camera Moda Fashion Trust, Manteco and Pitti Immagine.
