The Brazilian voice actor died this Thursday (05) Reinaldo Pimenta aged 76, who gave voice to characters in highly acclaimed national and international films and series.
The information was confirmed by Hélio Ribeiro and Márcio Simões, Reinaldo’s professional colleagues, through their accounts on the social network Instagram. The cause of death was not disclosed.
“It is with great sadness that I announce the death of our beloved Reinaldo Pimenta. A professional of the highest quality, and owner of intelligence and a sense of humor that are rare these days. Rest in peace my friend. You were enlightened and will be greatly missed. God bless you! A big hug and thank you very much for everything you taught us with all your wisdom. You were our human Google. A kiss”, wrote Hélio Ribeiro.

In the 1990s, Reinaldo began working as a voice actor and giving voice to characters such as Kent Brockman, in the animation “The Simpsons “, Low Strike, in “Everybody hates Chris “, Staple, in the franchise “Harry Potter “, and Palpatine, in the saga “Star Wars “.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Reinaldo was a lawyer, actor, writer and teacher, with experience at companies such as “Banco do Brasil”, “Petrobras”. Furthermore, in 2002, he launched the book “A Casa da Mãe Joana”, with more than 100 thousand copies sold.
