Along with the Voigtlander Apo-Lanthar 35mm F2 Aspherical lens, available in Leica M and Sony E variants, Cosina has introduced another full-frame lens with the same focal length, the Voigtlander Ultron Vintage Line 35mm F2 Aspherical Type II VM. As the name suggests, this is the second version of the Voigtlander Ultron Vintage Line 35mm F2 Aspherical VM with a Leica M mount, released in 2018. Like the original model, the new model with a mount is decorated in retro style and focuses manually. However, if the original model reproduced the lens produced in the 50s of the last century, the Type II outwardly corresponds to the lens that was in the Voigtlander catalog in the 70s.
