THE Russia she has not given up her plan to affects Ukraine with airstrikes and sees power cuts as its last hope, said Monday night (12/12) Ukrainian chairman, Volodymyr Zelensky.
“We need to know that Russia has not abandoned this terror tactic. Any absence of massive missile strikes simply means that the enemy is preparing new attacks. And there can be raids at any time”Zelensky said in his nightly videotaped speech.
“Russia is still counting on blackouts. This is the last hope of terrorists. Since they have missiles – and they still do – please take seriously the warnings from our military command.”he argued.
Of course, he noted how “even in the dark we know very well where to shoot and which areas to liberate and we will not stop, we will give everything for our independence”. In the meantime, he reiterated that the difficult task of finding and deactivating the mines that have been left by Russian stragglers in the areas that were under their control until recently continues. He announced that three people had died trying to disable mines.
At the same time, he asserted that important processes are underway under First Lady Olena Zelenska in France for the Ukrainians to attract French funds for the reconstruction of the country and the improvement of its infrastructure, including those that have been hit hard in recent months by the Russian missile attacks.
We should all be aware that Russia has not given up its terror tactics. The absence of massive missile strikes only means that the enemy is preparing for them and can strike at any time. Although it is obvious that even without light we know well where to shoot and what to liberate, Russia still hopes for blackouts. This is the last hope of terrorists… So as long as they have missiles – and Russia still has them – please take seriously all warnings from the Ukrainian military command, from our Air Force and air alarms. At all levels, we must be prepared for any hostile intentions. And we will do everything to get through this winter. I thank everyone who helps Ukraine! I thank everyone who works for our victory! Glory to all who fought for independence! Eternal memory to every Ukrainian whose life was taken by this war! Glory to Ukraine!

Earlier, speaking to the G7 countries, he proposed convening a “summit for world peace” on Ukraine to end the war that has been going on for almost ten months. “I propose convening a special summit – the world peace summit – to decide how and when we can implement the points of the peace formula in Ukraine,” Zelensky announced in a teleconference speech, calling on Russia to ” withdraw its troops from Ukraine’ before Christmas to ‘ensure a lasting cessation of hostilities’.
