Volodymyr Zelensky: Not a trace of Russia will remain in Ukraine – We are getting closer to victory, it’s only a matter of time

Its president Ukrainian, Volodymyr Zelenskyhe promised his countrymen that no trace of her would remain of Russia on Ukrainian territory, reiterating his assurance that the victory against the invaders it’s a matter of time.

In his video message, on the occasion of the completion of 400 days since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, President Zelensky praised the armed forces of his country for the struggle they are fighting. “The heroism of the Ukrainians will be remembered throughout the world.”he emphasized.

“We will not leave a single trace of Russia on our lands and we will not let the enemy go unpunished”committed.

“Let’s do everything so that the day will come sooner when I can thank you, dear Ukrainians, for our victory”concludes President Zelensky in his message.

Heavy attack in Kharkiv

At least six Russian missiles hit the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv late Thursday night (30/3), according to regional governor Oleh Sinegubov.

“Warning to the residents of Kharkiv and the surrounding area: The invaders strike again! Do not ignore this message. Stay in shelters”, he wrote in a post on social media. So far there have been no reports of casualties from the rocket attacks.

However, he noted that the missiles that hit the area were S-300s that have been reprogrammed to attack. According to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia has thousands of such missiles at its disposal and these are difficult to shoot down as they exploit gaps in Ukrainian air defenses that cannot detect them in time.

The attack in Kharkiv was reportedly carried out from the Russian base in Belgorod and according to Ukrainian media, there was a response from Ukrainian forces attacking Russian military installations.
