Volodymyr Zelensky: Our warriors do not stop advancing and liberating our land

Its president Ukrainian, Volodymyr Zelenskyemphasized in his night sermon that Ukrainian army is rapidly advancing on the southern frontwhile reporting that he liberated “dozens” of communities this week that had been temporarily occupied by the Russians invaders in the eastern part of the country.

“This week alone, after the Russian fake referendum, dozens of communities were liberated”the Ukrainian president said, pointing out that these are areas located in the Kherson, Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk regions – the annexation of which was recently announced by Russia.

“The Ukrainian military is moving forward rapidly and vigorously as part of our plan to defend the country. More specifically, the reports of the armed forces say that the communities of Lyubimivka, Khresenivka, Zolota Balka, Bilayvka, Ukrainka, Velika, Mala Oleksandrivka and Davidiv Brid were liberated in the Kherson area. These communities were liberated and are in a state of stabilization. And this is not the whole list…”Zelensky stated and continued:

“The warriors do not stop, they advance and it is only a matter of time before they liberate other areas and expel the invaders from our land”.

The Russian army was retreating today in the Kharkiv region (northeast), but also in the Kherson region (south), according to maps presented by the Russian Ministry of Defense. According to Ukrainian government officials, a total of 1,534 communities have been liberated since the start of the Russian invasion.

However, the fighting on these two fronts is still raging as the Ukrainian army’s counter-offensive continues.

At the same time, Zelensky mentioned that there were also important developments in the diplomatic field and argued that despite Ukraine’s continuous efforts to end the war “it is Russia that is doing everything to end the conflict on the battle front and not at the negotiating table”.

He also referred to the conversation he had with Giorgia Meloni, head of the “Brothers of Italy” “who won the elections and by a large margin. I thanked her for the military assistance her country offers us and we are waiting for her in Kyiv,” he stressed.
